Definitions and method

Compiled by the World Bank in World Development Indicators from official national and international sources, listed against each indicator by the World Bank. Some series come from third parties, so their own terms may apply beyond the World Bank's CC BY 4.0: check the source named for the indicator before redistributing. Sources in this set include: FAO electronic files and web site, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO); FAOSTAT, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO); Low Elevation Coastal Zone (LECZ) Urban-Rural Population and Land Area Estimates, Version 3, Center For International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) - Columbi; Staff estimates, World Bank (WB); ILO Modelled Estimates database (ILOEST), International Labour Organization (ILO).
