Definitions and method

Compiled by the World Bank in World Development Indicators from official national and international sources, listed against each indicator by the World Bank. Some series come from third parties, so their own terms may apply beyond the World Bank's CC BY 4.0: check the source named for the indicator before redistributing. Sources in this set include: World Population Prospects, United Nations (UN); Universal Health Coverage Dataset, World Health Organization (WHO); World Bank (WB); Statistical databases and publications from national statistical offices, National Statistical Offices (NSOs); Demographic Statistics, Eurostat (ESTAT).
