Our notes
Reviewed 2026-09-05 against the Natural Earth terms of use page. Quoted there - all versions of the raster and vector map data are in the public domain, no permission is needed, and crediting the authors is unnecessary. Attribution is nevertheless shown on the site, because a map that does not say where its coastlines came from is a map nobody can check.
